How does the Website appeal to it's target audience?
The website for the movie Central Intelligence has been set up in away that will be eye catching for it's target audience. On the website it has Photo's of the main characters, the trailer and the story of the movie. The website includes an exclusive Movie trailer and a lot of animation photo's from the movie which catch phrases, as well as the different posters for the movie. On the website there's a strict colour scheme used which are: Yellow, Black and White. The colours contrast with each other, making the words stand out and be more eye-catching to the audience. I feel like the website definitely matches the genre of the film, everything on it is quite fast paced which is to do with action. There's short animation photo's from the movie which add humour to it. By these different elements being put on the website it already gives the audience a taste of what the film will be about without giving away too much of the storyline. This will allow the target audience to be captivated, making them want to pay to watch the movie when it comes out.
For this movie the use of social media being used as a marketing technique was very important. They used sites such as Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram to promote the movie. Fans expressed their views and interests about the trailer of the film. And Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart personally promoted the movie themselves via social media which made their fans feel more connected. They marketed the film by posting behind-the-scenes footage, clips/scenes from the film and doing a Twitter Q&A for fans as well as doing Interviews which posted up on YouTube for everyone to watch. The two actors used the annual NRL (National Rugby League) match to promote their new movie across social media. This helped them gain more views as they had a huge platform to market their film.
Reviews of Central Intelligence:
1. "This movie is HILARIOUS! The Rock and Kevin Hart are fantastic together and have some of the funniest jokes I've heard all year. Watching them both on screen is the best part of this movie and it was extremely funny."

2. "Their acting styles – Hart’s jittery, syncopated, rapid-fire delivery versus Johnson’s laid-back physicality – are so starkly contrasting that it’s almost like watching two musicians simultaneously playing completely different pieces. And yet in this goofy comedy the casting harmonises perfectly, and a decent but patchy screenplay becomes one of the funnier films of the summer."
